Unfortunately for me, I just recently became a Radiohead fan. All I ever heard about this band was how great they were. It wasn't until this past summer that I came to understand an undeniable truth; no one makes music like Radiohead. This became clear after downloading and spending time with their albums OK Computer, In Rainbows, Amnesiac, and Kid A. This week's song feature comes from the 2000 album Kid A, which won a Grammy award for Best Alternative Music Album. "How to Disappear Completely" is a soothing, yet depressing song. Vocalist Thom Yorke is accompanied by a guitar and eerie echoes as he depicts the experience of "disappearing" in time, so to speak. Good reading music in my opinion. Fascinating lyrics. Radiohead.
