Bronslino kicked off his Blue Chips 2 tour last night at Irving Plaza in New York. His ravaging fans chanted impatiently after the opening set from Party Supplies, only to be greeted and ignited by Action with this 90's rock jam. [LISTEN] Tame Impala - "Alter Ego"

This Australian psychedelic rock group has had my ear this week. Tame Impala is a group project orchestrated by producer and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker (left above). This from their acclaimed 2010 debut album InnerSpeaker, for which Parker employed various drummers, vocalists, and bassists for extra influence. You experience the scenery portrayed from these combined synths, basses and compatible studio drums, plus the synthetic vocals matching its lyrical tone. Hit play and enjoy.

Funkadelic - "Super Stupid" #tbt

First Throwback Thursday spin of the day comes all the way from 1971. Maggot Brain would be the last album with the original Funkadelic line-up. Pitchfork Media named it the 17th best album of the 1970's. This song is about a drug addict buying the wrong drugs, with lead rap-sing combo vocals from Eddie Hazel, and some guitar patterns from Jimi Hendrix's "Crosstown Traffic".
