A good friend of mine knows me well enough to share such an immense sound. He sent me this video yesterday which was instant captivation. I've since retrieved Hozier's EP Take Me To Church, which can be streamed below. This record introduced to me the quivering, grave vocals of the Irish singer, who has a folk-blues-gospel orientation about him. The song and video carry equal density in concept and theme.
