This final Throwback Thursday for tonight is a cut from 2008 and the incredible English trip-hop group Portishead. Their third studio album entitled Third became the band's first top-ten ranked album on the American charts, reaching #7 in its first week. This was the first released single, and one of my favorites since recently discovering the group for my own. Watch Beth Gibbons (vocalist), Geoff Barrow, and Adrian Utley (instrumentalists) create the sounds for "Machine Gun" so authentically inside what I've read to be an empty brewery in Berlin. Hit the jump and immerse yourself in this somewhat creepy, creatively atmosphered musical experience.
