Alas, we've reached the cumulative period of reflection. This is our second annual "Best of's" campaign, and as we start to look back on arguably the most progressive year in hip-hop history, we want your input. Song Feature: Rhye- Open

 So a few weeks back the homie Black Nate was playing this song at work and I couldn't hear it as clear as I would have liked to but it was enough for me to get the artist and song title from you. In the weeks between then and now, the song has fully worked its way into my rotation and I couldn't be happier that it did. Rhye is a LA based indie duo that features a Canadian and a Dane.. I don't necessarily understand how that works but regardless if they continue to make music like this they should be on everyones radar. This is a smooth modern ballad with an extremely catchy melody. Hit the jump to listen to the track in its entirety.
