5 Songs You Should Have In Rotation NOW
James Blake- Retrograde
Mr. Blake's sophomore album Overgrown released this past week and Retrograde, the first single off the album, is an absolute hit. Blake hit the significantly hit the scene last year with his self-titled debut album and since then he has definitely developed a great deal as a song-writer and he "FLEXES" this on Retrograde. The song kind of has a dark melody to it with a musical climax of sorts at the top of the chorus. Blake is definitely a guy we should be following and Retrograde is a certified HIT.

XXYYXX- Love Isn't Made (feat. Steffalo)
This is literally one of the funnest tracks I've heard in quite some time. XXYYXX is an 18 year old electronic producer out of Orlando, FL and when you hear him it is very hard to believe he is that young. The kid uses some very complex synths along with great digital drums to create a virtual band better than your favorite producers. With the weather getting nice, this is definitely a song needed for your afternoon cruise to nowhere. It is a very upbeat and light track and I guarantee it will leave you wanting to know more about and hear more from young XXYYXX.

Kendrick Lamar- Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe Remix (feat. Jay-Z)
Alright... So we got arguably the best rapper to ever do it along side the one who could replace. I'm going to be 100% honest this is some of the BEST RAP I HAVE HEARD IN MY LIFE. We got a fresh Kendrick first verse on one of the overall fan favorites off of his critically acclaimed GKMC in which he proclaims to be "looking to be the god mc/ you look at my hat and see thorns there". Followed by a very good Jay verse. But it is Kendrick's second verse that is the creme de la creme. Hands down the verse of the year so far and a MUST LISTEN.. He told ni**as when he was 16 that he'd write a 16....

Robin Thicke- Blurred Lines (feat. Pharrell and T.I.)
Ok. So this may not be the most profound piece of music to come out in the last few months. And it is certainly not Robin's best.. But it is cool as hell. Now I may be biased being a fan of Robin, Pharrell, and T.I. but realistically you should be too. These are heavy hitters and this is as cool and smooth a "two-step" track to come out in a little while. This is what I would consider a classy party track. You can certainly turn up to it.. But its not for the club. The King T.I.P. lays a smooth verse and adds a lot to this already live Pharrell beat. It's sound is like Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" in 2013. Simply said, they all swag this joint out..

Numbers On The Boards- Pusha T
So, Jay-z Dropped "Open Letter" yesterday and Pusha T, who says he was acting in "competitive spirits", decided to match Hov and dropped a BOMB. This Don Cannon and Kanye chefed superbeat serves as the gasoline that ignites when Push does what Push is known to do every once in a blue. This is the nasty raw Push that we have grown to love with mature thought out flows and on point references. Attach with a few Jay-z samples and we've got something heavy. "Your SL missin a S, your plane missin a chef"... This makes his upcoming My Name Is My Name album all the more interesting.
